Meet the Owners

John and Penny LeDuc have served their communities in Nebraska for several years through careers in corrections and nursing. To fulfill a lifelong dream of working with animals, the idea for Urban Hound was born.

Always passionate about helping others and creating safe, welcoming spaces, they now spend their time building a fun, relaxing, and secure environment for dog lovers creating a community for all dog lovers!

Urban Hound is undoubtedly the BEST off the leash dog park/bar in lincoln!! The staff is amazing and so welcoming as well as all of the clientele. It’s a whole community and Penny and Eva made my first experience amazing!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to get a drink and socialize with cute doggos and great people!

Great people. Came through on a road trip between Denver and Minneapolis and needed a stop that would work for my dog. Had plenty of cold ones and good vibes. Love these people. GBR!!!

Brought a foster dog in for some socialization. The staff were brilliant and a great space. Wore the dog out! Now he goes to our car wanting to go back!

Bailey and Millie love to go to Urban Hound. They know when we turn on 48th where we are going, and go crazy. Nice people and very fun activities.

Aewosome place to go with your dog, have a good time and some beers. The staff is fantastic, super clean place and you will have a great time with your dog. Important info: You must bring your dog´s papers with you if it´s your firts time there (check the bar rules before you go). Totally recomend this place. Congrats to the owner for the idea.

Urban Hound is my favorite place to go. The staff, patrons and owners are amazingly nice. The pups are so well behaved and the owners are great at keeping an eye on them. Oakley and Zeke just love it so much and so do their parents!! Last night they had a caricature artist! It was so fun!!!
